First harvest of L’AMO AUBOCASSA oil

L’AMO AUBOCASSA is launched on the market, made at a brand new, state-of-the-art oil mill, the first in Spain, located on the AUBOCASSA property in Manacor.


This oil pays tribute to the figure of l’Amo in rural Majorca. This is the person who, without being the owner, works the fields and is deeply tied to the land while enjoying its produce.


L’AMO is part of a new stage in AUBOCASSA, linked to the opening of its new olive mill, a revolution in Spanish oil production that enhances the olive’s subtlest details.


L’AMO is a very special oil, a blend of Arbequina and Picual from several properties in the area. It reflects the complexity, intensity, personality and strength of the Majorcan countryside. It is an oil that is deeply rooted in the land to complement the subtle, delicate, ethereal, refined profile of its older brother, AUBOCASSA.


L’AMO is yellow-green and slightly opalescent. The first nose is very intense, with fresh aromas of herbs and herb flowers. This is followed by whiffs of peppermint and spearmint that clear the nose, leaving a wonderful sensation of freshness. In the glass, we find tomatoes, tomato plant, olive leaves and chlorophyll, followed by mastic, pleta shrubs, peaches, green pistachios, lemon leaves, saline breeze and fresh earth. The mouth is very fluid, with a fresh texture, notes of green almonds, green grass, peppermint and pistachios and medium sharpness.


It is an elegant, enveloping oil, with the character and personality of the Majorcan countryside, and it is backed by the Oli de Mallorca Protected Designation of Origin.
